Little Albert Terrence

Small children know just little!
At least thats what we think.
As grown ups we think we've grown beyond their innocent stare,

Their inquisitive eyes and a prying mind,
seems to scan every bit of scenes they see.
And that was no different for  Little Albert terrence.
He was growing up in his fathers farmland,
Tending to the sheep and thousands of flock,
in his fathers vast fields.
Before long he had grown,
with a careful mastery of the art of his father.
School was just a regular
not really what he wanted to do.
To him twas just to sharpen his insight of the world
before he would venture on his own.
So when Little Albert terrence told his dad that he was through with school,
Senior Albert was down with grief,
Knowing he had denied the family so much leisure,
If only to take little Albert to the best of schools.
What he didnt know was that through the years,
Little Albert Terrence with his curious mind had learnt his trade
Like an apprentice being readied for real stuff,
He had seen the traders come and go,
He had listened to the negotiations ,
As his father entered deal after deal for his farm produce
Their farmland situate south of former Forthall
had no marks of  America's Texas.
But as his father went on his chores
with a godfather cap on and his wellington boots on
Just like they do it in Texa's vast ranches,
Little Albert Terrence had dreamt of only one thing,
Being the manager at his fathers land.
He wanted to show the old man that he had come of age,
And show him too,
That the value of education is not ignorance of surroundings,
But to offer continuity, transformation and new insights.
And for that reason Senior Albert knew he had a trusted heir for his estate,
And so he didn't need a trust
For the safety of the wealth he had amassed.
Because L.A.T as they called him was in charge.
